The initiative gives law-enforcement officers "tools that they need to go after the root causes of illegal immigration, to go after scurrilous employers who take advantage of a broken illegal-immigration system, while still protecting innocent jobs in the state of Arizona," campaign chairman Andrew Pacheco said at a Capitol news conference.
